Today is a new day.
Today, before your calendar fills…
Before the emails begin…
Before you start chasing deadlines, dreams, and responsibilities…
I want you to ask yourself one simple question: What am I really living for?
Not what do I say matters most… What does my life actually reveal matters most?
Ask yourself:
Where does my first attention go?
What captures my imagination?
What consumes my thoughts?
What do I protect?
What am I investing my time, energy, and resources into?
Because Jesus says something incredibly honest—and incredibly loving when He said:
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19–21
Notice what Jesus doesn’t say. He doesn’t say your treasure follows your heart. He says your heart follows your treasure.
That’s profound.
Where you consistently invest your life is where your heart will eventually settle.
If your greatest investment is your career… Your heart will follow.
If it’s comfort… Your heart will follow.
If it’s approval… Your heart will follow.
If it’s your relationship with Jesus… Your heart will follow Him.
This isn’t about guilt.
It’s about alignment.
Jesus is inviting us to examine what we’re building our lives around, because believe it or not, everything we chase on earth eventually fades.
Success fades. Money comes and goes. Possessions wear out. Recognition is quickly forgotten. But what we invest into God’s Kingdom...
The people we love.
The lives we influence.
The moments we spend with Him.
The prayers we pray.
The generosity we give.
The obedience we choose.
Those are treasures that last forever.
Alignment isn’t just about beginning your morning with God; it’s about allowing your heart to become increasingly aligned with what matters most to Him.
Every decision becomes an investment. Every conversation becomes an opportunity. Every act of obedience becomes eternal.
Today, don’t simply ask, “What do I value?”
Ask, “What is my life proving that I value?”
Because your heart is already following something.
Make sure it’s worth following.
It’s time to Arise & Align.
